INSPIRATIONI am a daughter of a veteran who trained military men to fight in Vietnam and a granddaughter of two veterans who fought in World War II. The inspiration that fostered this endeavor came when I had the opportunity to work as the Liaison for Veteran Services at the University of Houston. I found that there was a gap. The rules for receiving VA benefits had changed from the first week of school till two months afterward which left most VA students homeless or in a financial dilemma which occurred in the year of 2018. From that point forward, I decided that something had to be done which led me to the founding for Men of Integrity. With our nonprofit organization our plan is to help and guide each veteran with the knowledge and resources needed to benefit them which will include living facilities to live their lives in a comfortable manner and becoming positive role models within the communities.
